ABOUT ZACH BENSON

Zach Benson (Richmond, VA) is a pop star. Taking sonic inspiration from indie-pop acts like The 1975 and Troye Sivan, Zach began producing sweet, melancholic tracks in his college apartment in 2017, posting them online for friends and family & performing at local spots around Virginia.

A lot has happened since then. He’s independently released an album (2020’s hopeless, romantic.), an EP (2022’s and miles to go before i sleep), and a slew of singles. He’s toured up-and-down the east coast & beyond with his band. He’s amassed more than 4.5 million global streams and 65k online followers. He’s collaborated with acts like ZEE MACHINE, Gregory Dillon and pulses., opened for Isaac Dunbar, VINCINT, and grandson, & been spotlighted by AT&T, Grindr, Paper Magazine, and RVA Mag. And there’s no sign that Zach will slow down soon.

Zach’s most recent release is “music for you and your friends”, a 10-track record that features his catchiest, grooviest, and most vulnerable tunes to date.
